Suspense over Maharashtra CM persists, BJP-Shinde meeting remained inconclusive
PTC News Desk: Maharashtra caretaker Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis and NCP leader Ajit Pawar met Union home minister Amit Shah in Delhi on Thursday. Shinde on Friday said the discussions between both the parties remained 'good and positive' and that the decision on the next chief minister will be taken in a day or two.
The leaders of BJP and Shiv Sena had a meeting with Amit Shah in order to end the deadlock over the top position. The decision over the chief minister post has still not been taken even six days after the results and the meeting between the leaders also remained inconclusive.
A per the reports, the meeting specifically revolved around portfolio allocation. BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis expressed gratitude to Amit Shah for his unwavering support which helped NDA secure thumping victory.

The Mahayuti alliance, comprising the BJP, Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, and Ajit Pawar's NCP, secured a historic win on November 23, clinching 230 of the 288 seats in the Assembly.
