Internet search ends in tragedy: Fatal accident claims student's life, injures 3 others in Hisar
Hisar, February 19: In a somber incident, a student lost his life while three others sustained injuries when the bike they were riding collided with a tree. The unfortunate event occurred as the youths, residing in Hisar district, embarked on a journey to Bhiwani district in search of internet connectivity, prompted by the ongoing internet shutdown in their region due to the ongoing farmers' protest.
According to available information, Deepak, a resident of Puthi Mangal khan, left his village early in the morning to pursue studies at the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Hisar. After attending classes, his three friends proposed a detour to Bhiwani, known for its uninterrupted internet access. The four, riding on a single bike, encountered a tragic turn of events when the bike's balance was disrupted, leading to a collision with a tree.

The repercussions were severe, with Deepak succumbing to his injuries at the Civil Hospital in Hisar, while the other three companions are currently undergoing treatment for their injuries.
The ongoing farmers' protest has led to internet restrictions in Hisar district, creating a situation where residents are compelled to travel to neighbouring areas for uninterrupted internet services.
