'Never experienced such crowd': Steve Jobss' wife falls ill ahead of 'Amrit Snan' at Maha Kumbh
PTC News Desk: Late Apple co-founder Steve Jobss' wife Laurene Powell Jobs had fallen sick and developed an allergic reaction ahead of 'Amrit Snan' in Prayagraj. Lauren is on a spiritual visit to India to participate in the celebrations of Maha Kumbh 2025.
Spiritual leader Swami Kailashanand Giri said, “She is resting in my 'shivir'. She has some allergies. She has never been to such a crowded place. She is pretty simple. She stayed with us during the pooja. Our tradition is such that those who have never seen it want to join."
“She has a lot of questions related to ‘Sanatan’, and we will try our best to answer her questions,” the spiritual leader added.
Lauren toured the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi before proceeding to the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj. She will remain at the Niranjini Akhara camp until January 15, after which she will return to the US to attend the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump on January 20.
While bracing cold, around twenty million devotees have taken a holy dip in the Sangam so far during the first 'Amrit Snan' of Maha Kumbh 2025 on Tuesday.
