PTC News Desk: Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk ended his fast on Monday, along with others, after the home ministry assured them that talks on Ladakh's demands will begin in December.

Prashant Lokhande, Joint Secretary for Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, met with activists who had been fasting indefinitely at Delhi's Ladakh Bhawan since October 6 and handed them a letter from the home ministry.

According to the letter, the ministry's high-powered committee, which is currently in talks with representatives from Ladakh, will meet again on December 3.

Following this, Wangchuk and his supporters decided to end their fast.
