Somnath Express derails in MP's Jabalpur

Jabalpur train accident: Two Somnath Express coaches derailed in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur early Saturday. The accident took place at 5.50 a.m., around 200 metres from the station.

Somnath Express derails in MP's Jabalpur

Jabalpur train accident: Two Somnath Express coaches derailed in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur early Saturday. The accident took place at 5.50 a.m., around 200 metres from the station. 

The Indore-Jabalpur express train (No: 22191) derailed at nearly "dead stop speed". There have been no reports of casualties in the incident so far.


Harshit Shrivastava, CPRO of West Central Railway, stated, "The train was coming from Indore. As it approached Jabalpur Railway Station's platform number 6, two coaches in the front derailed. All passengers are safe. The incident took place around 5.50 AM."
