PTC Web Desk: At least two soldiers were killed and one injured in an explosion at Mahajan field firing range in Bikaner during a training exercise on December 18, according to a Defence spokesperson. This marks the second fatal incident at the firing range within the same week.

"Two Army soldiers have lost their lives in the incident, and one soldier is injured," stated Defence spokesperson Lt Col Amitabh Sharma. The local police were quick to respond after receiving information about the blast.

"There were three soldiers practicing with the tank when the explosion occurred. Ashutosh Mishra and Jitendra were killed, while the injured soldier was airlifted to Chandigarh," said Circle Officer Lunkaransar (Bikaner), Narendra Kumar Poonia.
