Six workers killed as speeding pickup truck hit them on Delhi-Mumbai expressway

The injured workers were immediately rushed to the hospital while their condition remains critical. The accident took place around 10 am when about 11 sanitation workers were cleaning the expressway.

Six workers killed as speeding pickup truck hit them on Delhi-Mumbai expressway

PTC News Desk: At least six workers were killed while several other sustained critical injuries after a speeding pickup vehicle hit them near Ibrahimbas village on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway under Ferozpur Jhirka police station in district Nuh on Saturday morning.


The injured workers were immediately rushed to the hospital while their condition remains critical. The accident took place around 10 am when about 11 sanitation workers were cleaning the expressway.

The collision was so massive that the workers died on the spot after getting hit by the speeding truck.

Locals immediately informed the police and helped in taking the injured to the hospital.

“The circumstances of the accident will be ascertained with the help of CCTV footage and other evidence. The injured are being treated in hospital, and we are investigating with all angles,” said Inspector Aman Singh, SHO of Ferozpur Jhirka police station.
