'Seeking post retirement job': Kejriwal's dig at CEC Rajiv Kumar after rebuttal over Yamuna remarks
PTC News Desk: Amid political slugfest over poisonous substance in Yamuna river, AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal has now accused Chief election commissioner Rajiv Kumar Sen of doing politics in the row over his claim that BJP led Haryana government has mixed poison in Yamuna river to disrupt water supply ahead of Delhi assembly elections.
Accusing him of seeking a post-retirement job, Kejriwal said he would send three bottles of Yamuna water to Kumar and his Election Commissioners and challenged him to drink the water.
Kejriwal's remarks comes hours after Election Commission directed him to present factual evidence to substantiate his claims and respond to five questions by 11 am on Friday else it would take action against him.
"We have 20 bottles. We will send three of them to the Election Commission. Let Rajiv Kumar ji and his Election Commissioners drink this water at a press conference," he said.
"I want to tell the Election Commission with full respect. They can't see money and blankets are being openly distributed in Delhi. They are engaging in politics. Why? Because Rajiv Kumar wants a post-retirement job. If Rajiv Kumar wants, he can contest election from any of the seats in Delhi," he said. Rajiv Kumar will retire next month.
