Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran expressed his deep sorrow, describing Ratan Tata as a “friend, mentor, and guide” in a heartfelt tribute.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Draupadi Murmu led the nation in paying tribute to the late Chairman Emeritus of the Tata Group. In a poignant message on X, Prime Minister Modi described Ratan Tata as a “visionary.” He shared memories of their meetings in Gujarat during Modi’s tenure as Chief Minister, noting, “I would meet him frequently in Gujarat when I was the CM. We would exchange views on diverse issues. I found his perspectives very enriching. These interactions continued when I came to Delhi. Extremely pained by his passing away. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and admirers in this sad hour. Om Shanti.”
