Rashmika Mandanna 'escaped death' as flight makes emergency landing in Mumbai
PTC News Desk: Rashmika Mandanna "escaped death" after her Air Vistara flight made an emergency landing due to a technical glitch and extreme turbulence.
Rashmika posted a photo of herself with actor Shraddha Das to her official Instagram account on Saturday. “Just FYI, this is how we escaped death today…," she captioned.
A technical snag was reported shortly after takeoff on Vistara flight UK531, which flew from Mumbai to Hyderabad on February 17, 2024. According to an Air Vistara spokesperson, the pilots decided to turn back as a precautionary measure and safely landed the flight at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai, following standard operating procedures.
"An alternate aircraft was arranged, and it departed shortly thereafter to complete the flight. All efforts were made to minimise customer inconvenience, including the provision of refreshments," the airline further said.
