Ayodhya Day 2: Huge rush for Ram Lalla darshan
PTC News Desk: The city of Ayodhyain Uttar Pradesh continues to witness an overwhelming influx of devotees, even on the second day following the 'pran pratishtha' ceremony of Ram Lalla. The scenes outside the temple depict a vast gathering, with devotees braving the cold winter morning to catch a glimpse of Lord Ram.
To manage the massive turnout, approximately 1,000 Rapid Action Force (RAF) personnel have been strategically deployed in and around the temple complex. Their primary objective is to ensure that each devotee has the opportunity to partake in the sacred 'darshan' of Lord Ram, maintaining order and facilitating a smooth flow of visitors.
The devotion and dedication of the pilgrims are evident as they persist in making their way to the temple, underscoring the significance of the recent 'pran pratishtha' ceremony. This continued enthusiasm speaks to the profound spiritual connection that devotees share with Ram Lalla, transforming Ayodhya into a hub of religious fervor and communal harmony during these sacred days.
Praveen Kumar, Inspector-General of Police in Ayodhya, emphasizes the incessant arrival of people in the temple town. Despite the continuous flow, he assures that all necessary preparations have been concluded. An appeal is made to elderly and differently-abled individuals to plan their visit after two weeks, emphasising that there is no need to rush for 'Darshan.' The temple will open with enhanced arrangements for everyone's convenience.
Prashant Kumar, Special Additional Deputy-General of Police for Law and Order, shares updates on the enhanced queue system to handle the crowds. Dedicated channels have been established to streamline the movement of people. The Principal Secretary Home and Kumar are actively overseeing the management process, ensuring a smooth 'Darshan' experience for all.

The highly anticipated moment arrived on Tuesday as the Ram temple welcomed the public following the grand consecration ceremony of Lord Ram on January 22. From the early hours of the morning, a colossal crowd gathered around the temple, eager to catch a glimpse of the newly consecrated Ram Lalla idol.
Late into Monday night, devotees, both local residents and visitors from neighboring states, congregated near the main gateway along the Ram Path leading to the temple complex, anticipating entry into the sacred premises. As the crowd swelled near the ornate ceremonial gateway, adorned for the consecration ceremony, the police informed them that the temple would officially open its doors to the public the next day.
For those seeking the divine darshan of Lord Ram Lalla, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra website has outlined specific time slots. Devotees can visit during the morning slot, from 7 am to 11:30 am, or the afternoon slot, from 2 pm to 7 pm.
The 'aarti' ceremonies are scheduled with jagran/shringar at 6:30 am and sandhya aarti at 7:30 pm. Passes for these aarti sessions can be obtained both offline and online. The offline passes are available at the camp office at Shri Ram Janmbhoomi, requiring a valid government identity proof for issuance. The meticulous planning of darshan and aarti timings aims to facilitate a seamless and spiritually enriching experience for all devotees visiting the revered Ram temple.
