Ram Devotion: Hyderabad old man treks 7,200 km journey with gold footwear for Ram Mandir
Ram Devotion: With an unwavering faith, trust, love and devotion towards Lord Ram, a 64-year-old man from Hyderabad embarks his journey of challenges and difficulties to reach Ayodhya for the auspicious consecration ceremony of Lord Ram Mandir.
Old man from Hyderabad, Challa Srinivas Sastry commenced a 7,200-kilometer padayatra to Ayodhya, carrying gold-plated Khadaun 'charan paduka' (footwear) in anticipation of the Ram Temple's 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony on January 22.
In an act of utter devotion towards Lord Ram, Challa Srinivas Sastry mentioned that he is retracing the Ayodhya-Rameswaram route, mirroring Lord Rama's 'Vanavas' (exile) journey, and is set to reach Ayodhya on January 15.
Challa Srinivas Sastry further said that he will hand over this 'charan paduka' to Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on January 16th.

The devout pilgrim began his journey on July 20, following the reverse order and stopping at Shiva Lingas established by Lord Ram along the way.
Amid the festive air in Ayodhya and the euphoria around the consecration of the grand Ram Temple on January 22, rapid preparation is underway to make Ayodhya city as an international religious tourism city.
