Rajouri terror attack: Death toll rises to four, several injured
Rajouri (Jammu and Kashmir), January 2: Four civilians were killed and six others were injured in a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri late Sunday evening.
Earlier the death toll was reported at three. However, one of the injured succumbed to injuries at the hospital, taking the total death count to four.
After the attack, security forces launched an operation to neutralize two terrorists who attacked three houses in Dangri area, Jammu and Kashmir Police said on Monday.
According to police, an attack occurred in the Dangri area of Rajouri on Sunday, killing three people and injuring seven others. Two armed men opened fire on three houses in upper Dangri village, separated by about 50 metres.

"Another person succumbs to injuries. The death toll stands at four. Two armed men are allegedly involved in this firing," Mukesh Singh, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu zone, informed.
"Search operation has been launched in the area," he said.
Dr Mehmood, Medical Superintendent, Associated Hospital, Rajouri stated, "All the injured are being treated. Police and District administration have reached the spot, and an operation has been launched. Multiple bullet injuries were found on the body of the injured."
Several organisations in Jammu have called for protests against the terrorist attack in Rajouri on Monday.
