Rahul Gandhi takes Kerala's longest zipline in Wayanad | WATCH video
PTC News Desk: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi enjoyed Kerala's longest zipline at Karapuzha Dam to boost tourism and uplift local morale. His visit coincides with the poll in Wayanad, where his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is running.
On Tuesday, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha took Kerala's longest zipline to promote tourism in the recently earthquake-hit Wayanad. Gandhi praised the community's resilience and emphasised its efforts to draw tourists through attractions such as ziplines, big swings, and drop towers.
In a viral video, Gandhi assured potential visitors that Wayanad was both safe and beautiful. He continued: “The landslide was a localised event; tourism shouldn’t suffer.” He also jokingly challenged his sister, Priyanka Gandhi, to zipline in a saree.

Priyanka Gandhi's nomination as a candidate in Wayanad comes as the region recovers from the terrible July landslides, which killed over 200. Survivors are contesting elections with special transportation support and reuniting with neighbours at voting booths to restore their emotional state.
