Raghav Chadha, Parineeti Chopra attends Varanasi's Ganga Aarti on AAP leader's birthday
PTC News Desk: Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha celebrated his 36th birthday in India's spiritual and cultural heart, Varanasi. The senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader, along with his wife and Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra, attended the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat.
Members of the Ganga Seva Nidhi, including President Sushant Mishra and other officials, greeted them with a traditional angavastra (stole), prasadam (religious offering), and memento.
Parineeti also sent her well wishes to Raghav Chadha in a lovely Instagram post.
"Happiest bday my Ragaii. Your grace, honesty, patience and maturity make me wanna be a better person every day. You graciously lead me and teach me how to be strong, the value of emotional stability and the true meaning of respect and love. I promise to never stop learning from you. Everyone around me says it because it's true, "They don't make gentlemen like you anymore". I'm glad God gave me the best one of them all. Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha tied the knot in September 2023 in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
Raghav Chadha, born in 1988 in Delhi, attended the city's Modern School and then graduated from Delhi University. He is a Chartered Accountant.
He has been involved with the AAP, led by former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, since its foundation in 2012.
He competed as an AAP candidate for the South Delhi constituency in the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections but was defeated by Ramesh Bidhuri of the BJP. A year later, he ran in the Delhi Assembly elections and won the Rajinder Nagar constituency.
He is currently the Rajya Sabha MP for Punjab and one of Parliament's youngest members.
