Pune teen caught on CCTV drinking in pub before Porsche accident, claiming two lives
PTC News Desk: The 17-year-old, whose Porsche crashed into a bike in Pune, killing two people, was seated around an oval table at a bar hours before the horrifying incident, according to a video that was shown.
The adolescent, who is four months away from turning eighteen, is celebrating his Class 12 results with friends. Surveillance film from the Cosie bar captured joyful moments everywhere, including a table full of alcohol bottles.
The victims of the accident were a woman and a man who were both Madhya Pradeshi engineers employed in Pune. Police Deputy Commissioner Pune City Police's Vijay Kumar Magar attested to the minor's arrest.
The kid was accused by the police of reckless and irresponsible driving, causing harm by endangering life or personal safety, and violating pertinent sections of the Maharashtra Motor Vehicle Act.
The juvenile's bail included writing an essay about accidents, working with the Yerawada traffic police for 15 days, receiving treatment to help him stop drinking, and going through psychological counseling.
Since this is a "heinous crime," Pune authorities Commissioner Amitesh Kumar stated that authorities have asked the court to consider the accused as an adult.
It's obvious that the boy was driving while intoxicated, according to the police commissioner. The adolescent and his buddies were reportedly very inebriated, according to several witnesses.
A lawsuit has now been brought against the boy's father and the proprietor of the bar where he was given alcohol.
