'I also consume Yamuna water': PM Modi slams Kejriwal's Yamuna remarks as he kickstarts his election campaign for Delhi polls
PTC News Desk: Prime Minister Modi kick started his election campaign for upcoming Delhi assembly elections with his rally at Delhi's Kartar Nagar. PM Modi during his address exuded confidence in party's victory saying that on Febraury 5, the Aam Aadmi Party will go and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will come.
PM Modi also took a jibe over Kejriwal's poisonous Yamuna remark and said that the Aam Aadmi Party is rattled by the fear of losing and levelling serious allegations at the people of Haryana.
"A former Chief Minister of Delhi has levelled disgusting allegations at the people of Haryana. Due to fear of losing, people from AAP-da have got rattled. Are the people of Haryana different from those in Delhi? Are relatives of those living in Haryana not residing in Delhi? Can the people of Haryana poison the water their own people drink?" he said.

"This is not just an insult to Haryana but to Indians, an insult to our values, an insult to our character. This is the country where providing water is considered a good deed. I am sure that this time Delhi will teach a lesson to those who say such cheap things. These AAP-da people's ship will sink in Yamuna (inn AAP-da walon ki llutiya Yamuna mein hi doobegi)," he further added.
PM Modi during his rally said that the Yamuna water is consumed by everyone including himself. "Yamuna water is consumed by judges, diplomats as well as the poor. How can one think that Haryana will poison it to kill Modi?," he said.
He also came down heavily and alleged that AAP and Congress formed an alliance with each other "behind the scenes". He also said that Delhi would face a "double AAP-da" if Congress and AAP were in power together.
