PM Modi launches 13-km stretch Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor
PTC News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday launched the 13-km stretch of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor between Sahibabad and New Ashok Nagar, worth around Rs 4,600 crore, in a major boost to the city’s connectivity.

Later PM Modi also met with school children who presented hand made portraits displaying the making of ‘New India.’ Later, the PM took a ride on the Namo Bharat Train from Sahibabad RRTS Station to New Ashok Nagar RRTS Station.
“The people of Delhi now want a government completely dedicated to the welfare of the people along with the all-round development of the capital. With this resolve, I will get an opportunity to communicate with my family members here today at around 1 pm," he said in an X post.

The national capital has got its first Namo Bharat connectivity with the launch of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor. The development will significantly provide easy connectivity between Delhi and Meerut and will benefit millions of people through high-speed and comfortable travel along with safety and reliability.
