Coldplay's "Music of the Spheres" World Tour captivated audiences in India, with five sold-out shows. The British rock band performed three concerts in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai earlier this month, followed by two in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26.
Chris Martin, the band’s frontman, won hearts by interacting with the audience in Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati. He also paid tribute to Republic Day with soulful renditions of ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam.’
The Ahmedabad concert attracted notable figures, including Shah Rukh Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, and Jasprit Bumrah, while Chris Martin gave shoutouts to their presence. Other celebrities like Kartik Aaryan, Suhana Khan, and Vijay Varma also attended the Mumbai shows.
Coldplay’s 2024 tour marked their return to India after performing at the 2016 Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai.
