Varanasi, December 18: Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the grandeur of the world's largest meditation centre, Swarved Mahamandir, situated in Varanasi on Monday. Accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Prime Minister embarked on a comprehensive tour of the colossal facility capable of accommodating 20,000 individuals simultaneously for meditation sessions.
The Mahamandir stands as a seven-floor architectural marvel adorned with verses from the Swarveda inscribed meticulously across its walls. As the pinnacle of spiritual sanctity, this centre provides a serene sanctuary for those seeking solace and inner peace.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Adityanath exploring the expansive premises, marveling at the intricate design and the sheer magnitude of the structure. The Swarved Mahamandir embodies a harmonious blend of architectural brilliance and spiritual ethos, drawing visitors into its tranquil ambiance.

Key features of Swarved Mahamandir
Swarved Mahamandir stands as a testament to spiritual depth, featuring verses from the Swarveda intricately carved on its walls. According to the Swarved-mahamandir website, Swarved, authoured by Anant Shree Sadguru Sadafal Deo Ji Maharaj, is revered as a repository of profound spiritual knowledge derived from his experiences in the state of Samadhi at Shoonya Shikhar Ashram in the Himalayas.
This momentous occasion coincides with the annual congregation of Vihangam Yog, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Vihangam Yog Sansthan by Anant Shri Sadguru Sadafal Deo Ji Maharaj.
Key features of Swarved Mahamandir include its dedication to spiritual growth, spanning over 300,000 square feet in Varanasi's Umraha. Housing 20,000 meditation practitioners, the seven-floor superstructure hosts 3,137 verses of Swarved engraved on Makarana Marble.
The Mahamandir, a centre for conscious entity research, showcases a captivating 125-petal Lotus Dome and meticulously carved sandstone structures. Surrounded by pink sandstone walls and an exquisite medicinal herb garden, the centre aims not only to facilitate meditation, but also to eradicate social vices while fostering sociocultural projects for rural well-being.
