'Prosperity, peace & wonderful health for all': PM Modi extends New Year wishes to people
PTC News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended New Year greetings to the people of country and wished that 2024 would bring forth prosperity, peace and wonderful health for all.
"Wishing everyone a splendid 2024! May this year bring forth prosperity, peace and wonderful health for all," PM Modi said.
As the country welcomed the year 2024 with various celebrations, some people began the new year by praying and making offerings at temples.
Images from various locations showed people from all over the country thronging temples to pray on the first day of the New Year.
Devotees at Delhi's Jhandewalan Temple prayed on the occasion as the temple held its first aarti of the year.
Meanwhile, cities across the country celebrated the new year with lavish festivities and joy.
