Pile of soil dumped on rail tracks in Raebareli, loco pilot stops train just in time
PTC News Desk: A passenger train was briefly halted when the loco pilot noticed a pile of soil put on the rail tracks near Raghuraj Singh station on Sunday.
The soil was removed from the track, and train service resumed along the route, according to SHO Devendra Bhadoria.
"A small pile of soil was dumped on the railway track because of which a shuttle train from Raibareli was stopped," Bhadoria said.
Locals stated that road construction is taking place in the area, with dumpers transporting soil at night. He claimed that on Sunday evening, a dumper driver carrying soil dumped the load onto the railway track and fled.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
