Noida tragedy: 3 killed, several injured after car collides with pick-up truck
Noida tragedy: In a horrific and dreadful incident, three killed and several other injured after a car collides with a pick-up truck in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida.
According to the police authorities, the truck became uncontrollable after a car crashed into it from behind, causing it to flip over.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Central Noida Hirdesh Katheriya said "The accident occurred at around 3 am under the limits of PS Ecotech-3. A pickup truck went out of control when a car collided with it from behind, lost balance and overturned.
The ADCP mentioned that the individuals in both vehicles were acquaintances who were on their way back to Kulesara after attending a wedding.
Katheriya reported that "On getting information about the incident, the police immediately reached the spot and shifted the injured to the nearest hospital for treatment. During treatment, three people died and out of the nine who were injured, four were referred to Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi,"
Earlier today, the Delhi Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory stating that traffic flow on the Outer Ring Road, moving from IIT towards Delhi Cantonment, will be disrupted due to an accident involving two laden trailers on the Munirka Flyover.
"Traffic Alert will be affected on Outer Ring Road in the carriageway from IIT towards Delhi Cantt due to an accident of two loaded trailers on Munirka Flyover. Kindly plan your journey accordingly," the Delhi Traffic Police said in a post on 'X'.
Delhi Traffic Police released visuals showing two trailers stuck on a flyover after one trailer collided with the back of another.
