Naxal attack: Army Jawans targeted, injured in IED blast in Chhattisgarh

Naxal attack: A massive Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast took place during a Naxal patrol search operation in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district.

According to IG Bastar P Sundarraj, Naxals ambushed the patrolling team and detonated an IED. Two army personnel suffered injuries in the blast incident.


Meanwhile, on Friday, Chhattisgarh's Dantewada police stated that at least 38 Naxal cadres were killed in a recent encounter in the Abujhmad jungle near the Dantewada-Narayanpur border.

According to a statement released by Dantewada police, 38 Naxals were killed in an encounter with security forces inside the forest of villages Nendur and Thulthuli near the Dantewada-Narayanpur border.

The eliminated naxals had a total cash reward of Rs 2.62 crore. According to the statement, police have recovered the bodies of 31 of the 38 Naxals killed in the encounter, with the bodies of 29 cadres being handed over to their family. According to the statement, all 38 Naxals killed in the encounter have been identified.
