Mumbai: Moving Lamborghini goes up in flames, Industrialist raises concerns over safety
PTC News Desk: A fire broke out inside a moving Lamborghini car on the Coastal Road in Mumbai on Wednesday. However no injuries were reported during the incident.
According to the fire officials, the blaze was doused within 45 minutes. However no information regarding the occupants or cause of the fire could be ascertained.
The incident has raised questions over the safety standards of the high end car. A video of the incident was shared by industrialist Gautam Singhania who is also a car enthusiast, expressed concerns about the company's safety standards.
"Spotted by me: A Lamborghini engulfed in flames on Coastal Road, Mumbai. Incidents like this raise serious concerns about the reliability and safety standards of Lamborghini. For the price and reputation, one expects uncompromising quality, not potential hazards," he tweeted.
Another video shows flames in the cabin of a Lamborghini with a Gujarat registration number, and a man attempting to put them out.
