Monsoon mayhem: Nandaprayag, Chhinka road on Badrinath NH remains blocked in Uttarakhand
Monsoon fury in Uttarakhand: Due to torrential and relentless rainfall and thunderstorm in Uttarakhand, roads near Nandaprayag and Chhinka on the Badrinath National Highway remain blocked due to debris pile-up.
Chamoli Police also took to its official Twitter handle and shared the visuals from the spot where debris is being piled up on the road thus blocking the route to Badrinath.

Earlier on Tuesday, the road near Pipalkoti on the Badrinath National Highway was blocked due to debris.
The Chungi Badethi tunnel on the Gangotri National Highway in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi district has been facing the threat of getting damaged following landslides around the area, leaving authorities concerned.
Scores of commuters, including tourists as well as locals are stranded for hour’s enroute to Badrinath highway.
Traffic was stalled and disrupted on the Badrinath National Highway due to the falling and piling up of debris from landslides in the region.
Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi district is facing the threat of getting damaged following landslides around the area, leaving authorities concerned.
