WATCH | Massive fire at clothes godown in Maharashtra's Bhiwandi
Bhiwandi godown fire: A major fire broke out at a clothes godown in Thane, Maharashtra, in the early hours of Tuesday.
Firefighters rushed to the scene shortly after getting information about the incident, and efforts to put out the flames are underway.
Massive flames can be seen bursting out of the huge factory building in images from the the area.
There have been no confirmed casualties in the incident so far.
The reason for the incident has yet to be determined.
Bhiwandi Fire Brigade Officer Pramod Kakade shared details about the incident, saying, "A fire broke out in a factory in Saravali village... The incident occurred about 3:00 a.m. The efforts to put out the fire are continuing. Once the fire is extinguished, we will be able to calculate the loss."
