Man arrested for allegedly molesting woman on Delhi-Chennai IndiGo flight
PTC News Desk: A man was arrested on October 9 for allegedly molesting a female passenger during a Delhi-Chennai IndiGo Airlines flight. The suspect, identified as 45-year-old Rajesh Sharma, works as a marble tile layer. He was taken into custody upon the flight's arrival at Chennai Airport.
The incident occurred while the woman was traveling home after visiting Jaipur and Delhi. According to a police officer speaking to NDTV, Sharma, who was seated directly behind the victim, is accused of inappropriately touching her during the flight.
Following the incident, local police assisted the woman in filing a formal complaint, and an investigation is currently underway to gather more details. As of now, IndiGo Airlines has not released any official statement regarding the matter.
