Maharashtra portfolio allocation, CM Fadnavis retains Home; check full list
PTC News Desk: More than two weeks after assuming office, Maharashtra chief minister has allocated portfolios to council of ministers retaining the key Home department.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis along the Home department will also oversee law and judiciary. Meanwhile, Deputy CMs Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar have been given the charge of Urban Development & Housing and Public Works and Finance & Planning and the Excise department, respectively.

Among the key portfolios allocated to BJP ministers are -- Chandrashekhar Bawankule (Revenue), Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil (Water Resources - Krishna and Godavari Valley Development Corporation), Chandrakant Patil (Higher and Technical Education, Parliamentary Affairs), Girish Mahajan (Water Resources - Vidarbha, Tapi, Konkan Development Corporation and Disaster Management).
