Lok Sabha Session

The first session of the 18th Lok Sabha resumed on Monday, following a Friday adjournment due to severe disagreements between the treasury benches and the INDIA bloc members. The House will debate the Motion of Thanks to the President's Address before it is passed by both houses of Parliament.

During the debate on the President's address, opposition parties raised a number of issues, including alleged NEET irregularities. Several opposition MPs from the INDIA bloc also spoke out against the alleged misuse of central investigative agencies outside Parliament.
