'Deeply sorry': Kunal Kamra offers holiday to banker who cut short his trip for 'traitor' joke probe
PTC News Desk: Stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra has offered a holiday along with apology to a banker who was spectator at his controversial show where he triggered a slugfest for his remark against deputy chief minister Eknath Shinde.
Kunal Kamra extended his apology to a banker who had to cut short his vacation after he was summoned by Mumbai police for questioning in connection with the stand-up comedian's controversial remark against Eknath Shinde case.
"I am deeply sorry for the inconvenience that attending my show has caused to you. Please email me so that I can schedule your next vacation anywhere you'd like in India," the comic said in a post on X.

The banker, resident of Navi Mumbai's Khargarsaid that he was on a trip to Tamil Nadu and Kerala when he received a call to appear before Mumbai police.
"I left Mumbai on March 21 for the trip and was supposed to return on April 6. But I returned midway after repeated calls from the police while I was in Tamil Nadu. The officer who called me was sceptical about my out-of-town status and threatened to visit my Kharghar residence. This prompted me to cut short my trip and return early," he said according to a report.
Earlier Mumbai police had issued notices to all the audience members who were part of the stand up.
