Kolkata doctor murder: Parents of trainee doctor, who was brutally r@ped and murdered at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital while she was on duty, have urged the people of the nation to stand with them "until the accused is caught".
The father of the deceased doctor broke down as he spoke about the horrific incident and said "This should never happen to any other human being."
The victim's mother urged all the countrymen, people of the world and the state to stand with them until the accused is caught. "We only wish that this should not happen to any mother, no one should lose their child like us," she added.

"Through you, we want to give a message to the people of the whole country. We are grateful to all the countrymen, people of the world and the state, we request that you stand with us until the accused is caught," the deceased doctor's mother said.
The main accused is Sanjoy Roy, a civic volunteer with the Kolkata Police who was stationed at the police outpost at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital and had access to all departments. However, the father told NDTV that his daughter was raped and murdered by more than one person. "It is impossible that only one suspect is involved. There are more suspects at large," he stated.
After a 36-hour shift, the second-year postgrad went to an empty seminar room on Thursday night to relax. The hospital doesn't have an on-call room. Apparently, she had fallen asleep there.
Her partially clothed body, with numerous injuries, was found there the next morning. a
