Kerala: Fatal accident kills five first year medical students in a bus-car collision

PTC News Desk: In a tragic incident, five first year medical students were killed after their car collided head-on with a state transport bus in Kerala's Alapuzzha district on Monday night.


The victims have been identified as Devanandan and Muhammad Ibrahim from Lakshadweep, and Ayush Shaji, Sreedeep Valsan, and Muhammed Jabbar, were students at the TD Medical College in Alappuzha.

The impact of the collision was so severe that the car was left in a wrecked state. All the injured were immediately taken to the hospital where they were declared brought dead. The bus was also impacted due to the crash, but the passengers sustained only minor injuries.
