Bounty for Bishnoi: This outfit has announced reward for killing Lawrence
PTC News Desk: The Kshatriya Karni Sena has announced a reward of Rs 1.11 crore to any cop who kills jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi in an encounter. In a video making the announcement, Kshatriya Karni Sena national president Raj Shekhawat reportedly announced a ₹1,11,11,111 reward “for any police officer who kills Lawrence Bishnoi.
While strongly criticizing the central and the Gujarat government, Shekhawat said that Lawrence Bishnoi is a threat to the country. Citing safety concerns, Shekhawat announced a reward for any police official wo will execute the encounter.
The development comes days after chilling murder of frmer Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique. Not to mention, former chief of Karni Sena Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was hot dead in Jaipur in 2023. Soon after Bishnoi gang took responsibility for the murder.
The gangster is currently in the Gujarat jail for cross border smuggling charges. He is also a suspect in an alleged plot to kill Bollywood actor Salman Khan and speculated to be associated with murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique for which the Bishnoi gang took responsibility.
The long standing enmity between Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi came to spotlight in 2018 when Bishnoi during court proceedings said that, "We will kill Salman Khan. Everyone will know once we take action. I have not done anything as of now, they are accusing me of crimes for no reason.”
Since the public announcements, the actor has received multiple threats latest being subjected to the victim of firing at his residence. The enmity stems from the infamous blackbug poaching case involving actor in 1998 during the shooting of Hum Saath-Saath Hain in Rajasthan irking Bishnoi community in which the animal hold significance reverence.
