Jammu and Kashmir: Two soldiers killed In bomb explosion In Akhnoor Sector
PTC Web Desk: Two Indian Army soldiers were killed in action in a suspected improvised explosive device (IED) attack by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Akhnoor sector on tuesday, the Army confirmed.
The White Knight Corps paid tribute to the fallen soldiers, acknowledging their supreme sacrifice in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
The attack occurred while the soldiers were on a fence patrol along the Line of Control (LoC). Following the blast, the Army launched search operations to track down the perpetrators.
"Own troops are dominating the area, and search operations are underway," the Army stated.
This incident adds to the rising security concerns in J&K amid persistent terror threats near the LoC.
