Jammu and Kashmir: Encounter breaks out between security forces and terrorists in Poonch, 1 soldier injured
PTC News Desk: At least one soldier got injured after an encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists on Monday in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district.
The Indian Army, in a joint operation with the Jammu and Kashmir Police, launched "Operation Lasana" in the Lasana area of Surankote. The operation was launched after security forces suspected unusual movement.
Additional troops have been deployed in the area, and search operations are currently underway to ensure that the terrorists do not escape.
