Inside Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's mehendi: Mukesh Ambani performs puja, priests pose for photos with the couple
PTC News Desk: Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant enjoyed their mehendi ceremony on Wednesday in Mumbai, ahead of their July 12 wedding. The event was rich in tradition as Mukesh Ambani and his son Anant performed a lavish Shiv Shakti puja at the Ambani residence in Antilia, Mumbai, which included a huge Jyotirlinga.

Social media users posted a number of images and videos from the pre-wedding celebration, which included the installation of a massive Shiva Jyotirlinga statue. While Mukesh and Anant Ambani performed the Shiv Shakti puja in front of the guests and the rest of the family, Amit Trivedi was spotted performing his hit song "Namo Namo" at the location.
In the meantime, a video purporting to show Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant posing for photos and grinning with one of the priests went viral.
Bollywood stars at Ambani's mehendi ceremony
The haldi ceremony happened the day after the turmeric-drenched haldi ritual, which featured several Bollywood celebrities. A number of celebrities, including Janhvi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Sanjay Dutt, and Ranveer Singh, attended the mehendi event.
At the event, in addition to Amit Trivedi, Kailash Kher also gave a performance. In addition, the Ambanis planned a bhandara in conjunction with the mehendi ritual.
The Ambanis hosted a Mameru ceremony on July 3. Mameru is a Gujarati wedding custom in which the bride's maternal uncle, or mama, pays her a visit and brings presents and candies. This year, they hosted a number of pre-wedding parties, including an extravagant cruise in Italy and a star-studded party in Jamnagar. Rihanna was present at the Sangeet event, where Justin Bieber gave a performance.
On July 12, Anant and Radhika will tie the knot in accordance with the ancient Hindu Vedic traditions. The wedding ceremony, Shubh Vivah, will draw visitors from all across the world. The Shubh Aashirwad and Mangal Utsav on July 13 and 14 will kick off the celebrations.
