IndiGo revises menu: Dissatisfied passenger slams airline for not providing beverages separately, IndiGo responds
IndiGo revises menu: IndiGo Airlines has recently changed its in-flight menu by stopping serving individual cans onboard flights and that passengers have the option to get a complimentary glass of juice or coke on purchase of any snack.
Dissatisfied over the revised menu, a passenger slammed IndiGo Airlines by taking to his X handle (former Twitter) and pointed out the dissatisfied services of airlines of not serving beverages in cans onboard flights. The airline has made it obligatory to also buy a snack, regardless of whether you want it or not.
Slamming IndiGo for this decision, the individual commented that it did not reflect a commitment to 'customer centricity.'
Dissatisfied passenger D Prasanth Nair posted pictures of Indigo's revised menu. The menu mentions that beverage options are only available as part of a combo, forcing passengers to forgo standalone purchases. He wrote, "Recently took an IndiGo flight. Surprised to find that they don't sell tea/ coffee separately. Given that many pax would want just to have a tea/coffee, one would need to buy a snack beverage for 200/, effectively meaning a tea/ coffee will cost 200/. Definitely not an example of customer centricity."
