Illegal mining case: ED raids premises of ex-Haryana MLA Dilbag Singh, recovers Rs 5 cr cash
Illegal mining case: The Enforcement Directorate raided the premises linked to former Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) legislator Dilbag Singh and associates in connection with an illegal mining case.
The Enforcement Directorate recovered illegal foreign-made arms, 300 bullets, more than 100 liquor bottles & Rs 5 crore cash, 4/5 kg bullion and other materials.
Along with that, several properties belonging to ex-INLD legislator Dilbag Singh & his associate's premises, in India & abroad were recovered, informed the Enforcement Directorate.

The searches were conducted in at 20 locations in Haryana including Yamuna Nagar, Sonipat, Mohali, Faridabad, Chandigarh and Karnal.
Notably, Dilbag Singh is former Yamuna Nagar legislator and shares a close friendship with INLD leader Abhay Singh Chautala. Four years ago, Dilbag Singh daughter wedded Chautala's son, Arjun Chautala.
In the 2019 Assembly polls in Haryana, Dilbag Singh was ranked among the state's wealthiest candidates. Singh declared assets amounting to Rs 34 crore.
