Himachal Pradesh: One dead, 18 hurt as tourist vehicle overturns near Atal Tunnel
Lahaul and Spiti, May 15: One person was killed while while several others sustained injuries when a tourist vehicle overturned at Ghundhi Bridge, near Atal Tunnel Rohtang Pass on Wednesday.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Manali, KD Sharma said the passengers belonged to Mumbai and had come to here on vacation. The accident took place when the driver lost control of the vehicle near Ghundhi Bridge, near the Atal Tunnel Rohtang Pass.
As per information, there were a total of 21 tourists, including the driver, in the vehicle. As many as 18 passengers were injured while one died. The injured have been admitted to a local hospital in Manali.
