Deputy Director IMD, Bui Lal, stated that several districts in the region had already experienced substantial downpours in the past 24 hours, with Sirmaur district receiving 195 mm of rainfall.

As per Ashutosh Garg, DCP of Kullu, around 1,700 families have been impacted, and the relief funds are being distributed by the revenue department personnel.
The torrential rains have led to severe landslides and flash floods, resulting in significant financial and infrastructural losses in Himachal Pradesh.
