PTC News Desk: On Friday, there was a lot of rain in Delhi-NCR, which greatly interfered with daily life for locals and commuters. There has been a lot of flooding, and in some low-lying places, water has even invaded dwellings. Traffic flow has been impacted, with several vehicles becoming stuck on the road as a result of flooding.

In just three hours, the nation's capital had about 15 centimeters of rain, according to meteorologists. The primary observatory at Safdarjung, the city, recorded 148.5 mm of rain between 2.30 and 5.30 am.

The city was severely damaged by the rain. Rain caused a section of Terminal 1's roof at the Delhi airport to collapse onto nearby automobiles, injuring six persons. As a precaution, all departures from the terminal have been temporarily halted, and check-in counters are locked, according to officials. Since midnight, sixteen flights have been canceled, twelve of which are arriving.

There are numerous areas that are flooded, including Teen Murti Marg, Moolchand, Minto Road, Anand Vihar, Mehrauli Badarpur Road, Mandawali, Bhikaji Cama Place, Madhu Vihar, Pragati Maidan, Munirka, Dhaula Kuan, Moti Bagh, ITO, and a few sectors in the Noida area.

Water seeped into homes in South East Delhi's Chittaranjan Park, causing damage to furniture and other household goods.

Numerous locations have had diversions declared by traffic police. Waterlogging beneath the Dhaula Kuan Flyover caused traffic to be impacted on the Ring stretch on both carriageways of the Naraina-Moti Bagh stretch. The Azad Market underpass floods the Vir Banda Bairagi Marg as well.
