Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee election schedule withdrawn; know why
PTC Web Desk: The election schedule for the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (HSGPC) released on Wednesday has been withdrawn. Providing information on the matter, Justice HS Bhalla, Election Commissioner for the Haryana gurdwara elections, said the Director, Secondary Education, Haryana School Education Department, has written to him, requesting the withdrawal of the election schedule for the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.
The Director highlighted that the scheduled elections coincide with the annual exams of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Haryana School Education Board for Classes 10 and 12.
Justice Bhalla said in consideration of the students' welfare, the election schedule for the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has been withdrawn. The new election schedule will be released later.
