Gurinder Singh Dhillon to remain spiritual head of Radha Soami Satsang Beas
PTC News Desk: Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon will continue to be the spiritual head of Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB). The move comes one day after Gurinder Singh Dhillon named Jasdeep Singh Gill as his successor.
According to sources, some "miscommunication" caused resentment among the followers over the change of guard as they quickly gathered on the Dera premises in Amritsar.
Following this, Dera authorities announced that Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon would remain the spiritual head until he steps down. On the other side, Jasdeep Singh Gill would serve as the patron.
Earlier, Jasdeep Singh Gill (45) was announced as the head of Radha Soami Satsang Beas with “immediate effect” from September 2, 2024.
The official statement from Dera authorities also read, “Gill shall also succeed Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon as the Sant Satguru and will have the authority of giving initiation (naam)… Babaji has expressed that like he has received full support and love of the sangat after Huzoor Maharaj ji, he has wished and requested that the same love and affection be given to Jasdeep Singh Gill in carrying out his sewa as patron and Sant Satguru.”
