PTC Web Desk: In a remarkable gathering of influential personalities, the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya is set to witness the presence of renowned figures, including billionaire Mukesh Ambani, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, and a select few from various spheres. The exclusive guest list, comprising prominent politicians, industrialists, film stars, sportspersons, bureaucrats, and diplomats, promises a grand affair to mark the unveiling of the majestic 161-feet tall pink sandstone shrine.

While the extensive list of invitees spans approximately 8,000 persons, the select few, numbering a few hundred, will be at the forefront of this historic event. Among the luminaries in attendance, Amitabh Bachchan is expected to grace Ayodhya in a private chartered plane for the opening ceremony.

Joining him from the film industry are esteemed actors such as Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Allu Arjun, Mohanlal, Anupam Kher, Chiranjeevi, sarod maestro Amjad Ali, lyricist and poet Manoj Muntashir along with his wife, and renowned lyricist and writer Prasoon Joshi. Directors Sanjay Bhansali and Chandraprakash Dwivedi complete the star-studded representation from the cinematic world.

Business tycoon Mukesh Ambani, along with his family—comprising mother Kokilaben, wife Neeta, sons Akash and Anant, daughter-in-law Shloka, and the would-be daughter-in-law Radhika Merchant—will be present at the ceremony. Adding to the list of distinguished industrialists are Kumar Mangalam Birla of Aditya Birla Group with his wife Nirja, Ajay Piramal of Piramal Group, Anand Mahindra of Mahindra and Mahindra, Ajay Shriram of DCM Shriram, and K Krithivasan, CEO of TCS.

Representatives from the pharmaceutical sector include K Satish Reddy of Dr Reddy's Pharmaceuticals, while the entertainment industry sees the presence of Punit Goenka, CEO of Zee Entertainment Enterprises. L&T CEO S N Subrahmanyan, along with his wife, industrialist Durali Divi of Divis Laboratories, Infosys founder N R Narayana Murthy, Naveen Jindal of Jindal Steel & Power, and Naresh Trehan of Medanta Group are among the other notable names attending the event.

The political realm is represented by former Lok Sabha speaker Meira Kumar and former Planning Commission deputy chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia. India's G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant, former diplomat Amar Sinha, former attorney generals K K Venugopal and Mukul Rohtagi, and Indian women's cricket captain Mithali Raj are also part of this prestigious gathering.

As the date of the consecration approaches, some invitees are opting for private jets on January 22, while others choose regular flights, arriving a day earlier to stay overnight in Ayodhya or nearby cities such as Lucknow. The diverse and illustrious guest list reflects the broad spectrum of influence and talent converging to celebrate the culmination of this momentous occasion—the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
