New Delhi, December 30: In a significant initiative, the Central Government unveiled the much-anticipated calendar for 2024, showcasing a mosaic of achievements across diverse sectors. Anurag Thakur, the Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, graced the launch event, emphasising the government's commitment to highlighting its accomplishments.

The calendar stands out for its innovative approach, featuring distinctive themes assigned to each month. It offers a comprehensive reflection of the government's milestones, encapsulating its advancements in various sectors. Notably, the calendar integrates modern technology by incorporating QR codes that provide in-depth details and insights into the achievements celebrated each month.

Anurag Thakur stressed the government's dedication to transparency and information dissemination. 

About the calendar

The calendar embodies the fulfillment of promises made by the Government of India over nine years, showcasing the joy brought to every segment of society. It pays tribute to the tireless efforts of government agencies and officers in realising the vision of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.'

January marks the theme of 'Unleashing Potential, Making India Self-reliant,' spotlighting India's achievements via initiatives like "Make in India" and "Make for the World."

February champions "Youth Power for National Development," highlighting the youth's contributions.

March prioritises 'Support for the Deprived,' emphasising inclusivity and justice.

April focuses on 'Empowering Women,' essential for societal progress.

May celebrates farmers and agricultural policies.

June emphasises 'Growth in Employment and Self-Employment Opportunities.'

July lauds the middle class for driving growth.

August showcases India's global economic stature.

September highlights transformative strides in infrastructure.

October spotlights healthcare accessibility.

November cherishes cultural heritage.

December embodies the motto "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" and India's global role as a friend to the world.
