Gangster Anil Dujana killed in an encounter in Meerut
PTC News Desk: Most wanted gangster Anil Dujana was killed in an encounter with the Uttar Pradesh STF on Thursday evening. The Yogi Adityanath-led government has launched a crackdown on all sorts of mafias and gangsters in the state. The development also comes weeks after the UP police gunned down gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed's son Asad during an encounter.
While addressing media, Additional DGP, STF of Uttar Pradesh Amitabh Yash said, "Dreaded gangster of western UP, Anil Dujana was killed in an encounter with the Meerut unit of UP STF. He had several cases against him, he was a contract killer and had 18 murder cases against him. Further details are awaited.."
Who was Anil Dujana ?
Anil Dujana was notorious criminal of western UP and was nabbed by the Crime Branch of Delhi Police in 2021. Dujana had 62 cases registered against him, including that of 18 murders, extortion, looting, land grabbing and others. After going to jail also Dujana planned and directed his aides to execute murders, extortion and other criminal activities while sitting in jail.
