G20 Summit 2023: Rajghat visit to tree planting ceremony; know what's on agenda for Day 2
G20 Summit 2023, Day 2: After making many major announcements to address the "global trust deficit," climate change, and economic challenges, world leaders meeting in New Delhi for the G20 Summit will continue discussions for a second day.
8:15 am to 9 am: The leaders and heads of the delegations will arrive at Rajghat in individual motorcades.
9:00 am to 9:20 am: The leaders will thereafter lay a wreath at Mahatma Gandhi's Samadhi. There will also be a live rendition of one of Mahatma Gandhi's favourite devotional songs.
9:20 am: Leaders and Heads of Delegations will thereafter proceed to the Leaders' Lounge at Bharat Mandapam.
9:40 am to 10:15 am: Arrival of leaders at Bharat Mandapam
10:15 am–10:30 am: Tree planting ceremony at South Plaza of G20 venue Bharat Mandapam
10:30 am–12:30 pm: The summit's third session, titled "One Future," will be held at the venue, followed by the adoption of the New Delhi Leaders' Declaration.
The 18th Group of 20 (G20) Summit is being held in India's capital, Delhi. On Saturday, September 9, the G20 leaders had a productive first day. The first day of the G20 Summit saw the adoption of the New Delhi Leadership Declaration, the declaration of a mega India-Middle East-Europe economic corridor, and the induction of the African Union (AU) as a permanent member of the Group of 20.
The G20 Summit began on Saturday at the Bharat Mandapam and will conclude on Sunday.
