Forbes releases '30 under 30 Asia' list: Check Indians featured on the list

'30 Under 30 Asia' list: Forbes on Thursday released its 9th edition of the "30 Under 30 Asia" list.

The list features young entrepreneurs, leaders and trailblazers under 30, who are advancing innovation and revolutionising industries across the Asia-Pacific region. 


Many Indian entrepreneurs from a range of industries, including technology, sustainability, logistics, and fashion, are also included in this esteemed list. 

Here's a list of Indians on Forbes 30 under 30 list

Healthcare and science

Karan Ahuja: Beginning in September 2024, Google research scientist Karan Ahuja will teach computer science as an assistant professor at Northwestern University. Ahuja, who received his PhD in human-computer interaction from Carnegie Mellon University, has focused on work on projects like gaze-tracking for smartphone control and body-movement sensing for smartwatches. 

Aryan Chauhan: In 2021, Aryan Chauhan and his mother Monika Chauhan co-founded Zivov with the goal of assisting in the treatment of diabetes. A self-created skin-attached sensor that tracks blood sugar levels is part of their solution. Users can check their results by Zivov's smartphone app.

Entertainment

Pavithra Chari: A trained singer-composer, Pavithra Chari rose to fame as half of the Shadow and Light duo with Anindo Bose. In 2023, their collaboration with the Berklee Indian Ensemble was nominated for a Grammy. She is a proficient Bharatnatyam dancer and is also part of the Anirudh Varma Collective, touring the US. 

Arpan Kumar Chandel (King): When Nick Jonas remixed his hit song 'Maan Meri Jaan', Indian rapper Arpan Kumar Chandel, also known as King, gained global recognition. King rose to prominence after appearing on MTV Hustle in 2019, and he has since released several albums. His latest album, 'New Life', features artists such as Nikhita Gandhi and Gucci Mane. He also serves as an ambassador for Sony Audio and has launched his own fragrance, Blanko.

Enterprise Technology

Kunal Aggarwal: Kunal Aggarwal founded Credflow in 2019, which provides cashflow management software for small and medium-sized businesses. The platform analyses business data, sends automated payment reminders, and provides credit lines to qualified users. 

Gaurav Piyush, Mayank Varshney, and Yash Sharma: They established Blitz, a logistics startup, in 2020. The company, formerly known as Grow Simplee, is based in Gurugram and specialises in providing same- or next-day delivery services through a network of warehouses and fulfilment centres.

Aditya Dadia: Aditya Dadia founded AIwrite in 2022 to provide new digital software for India's insurance industry. The Mumbai-based startup uses machine learning to help insurance companies analyse risks and develop products more quickly.
