Fire engulfs 15 tents at Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, no casualties reported | Watch
PTC Web Desk: A fire broke out in 15 tents near Chatnag Ghat at the Maha Kumbh Mela on Thursday morning, officials confirmed. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries have been reported.
According to fire department officials, emergency responders faced challenges reaching the site due to the lack of access roads. However, fire tenders managed to extinguish the flames before they could spread further.

This incident follows a tragic stampede on Wednesday in the Sangam area, where 30 persons lost their lives, and over 60 others sustained injuries as massive crowds gathered for a holy dip on Mauni Amavasya.
Earlier, on January 19, another fire erupted at the Sector 19 campsite due to the explosion of three gas cylinders. The blaze was swiftly controlled, with no reported casualties.
